- None of our apps require an account, sign-up or login.
- We do not collect, store or sell any personal data. We have no servers that receive your data.
- No analytics, no advertising and no third-party tracking in any of our apps.
- Your photos, videos and projects are processed on your device and stay there.
Who we are
These apps are made by FilmPix Studios Limited, Cork, Ireland ("FilmPix Studios", "we", "us"). This policy explains how each of our apps handles information. If you have any question, email apps@filmpixstudios.com.
What all our apps have in common
- We do not collect names, email addresses, contacts, device identifiers or usage data.
- We do not include analytics or advertising software development kits.
- We do not track you across other apps or websites, and we do not sell or share personal data.
- Every app is labelled "Data Not Collected" on the App Store.
- Anything the apps store is kept on your device and may be included in your device backups (for example iCloud Backup or Time Machine), depending on your own settings. Those backups are handled by Apple under Apple's Privacy Policy.
Apple services
- Purchases: apps and in-app purchases are sold and processed by the App Store. We never see your payment details.
- App Store analytics: if you choose to share analytics with developers in your device settings, Apple may give us aggregated, anonymous statistics such as crash reports and download numbers. These do not identify you.
PosePlan
A pose library and shoot planner for iPhone.
Stored on your device only

A summary of your active shoot is shared with the PosePlan widget and Live Activity on the same device so they can display it.
Permissions
- Camera: only when you choose to take a photo to add as your own pose.
- Photos: only to pick an image to add as your own pose. The app only receives the photos you select.
- Location (while using the app): only to centre the map on where you are when you pick a shoot location. It is never sent to us.
- Notifications: shoot reminders scheduled on your device.
When you search for or pick a shoot location, the search is handled by Apple Maps under Apple's Privacy Policy.
Photo Border
Borders, frames and EXIF details for your photos on iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple Vision Pro.
- Photo Border only accesses the photos you choose to open. Editing and exporting happen on your device.
- To show camera details in the frame, the app reads the photo's metadata (EXIF), such as camera, lens and exposure settings. This is used only to draw the frame and is not sent anywhere.
- When you save an exported image to your photo library, the app asks for permission to add photos. You can change this at any time in Settings.
FrameForge
Photo borders and EXIF overlays for the Mac.
- FrameForge has no network access. Your photos never leave your Mac.
- The app only opens the files you choose and saves exports where you choose.
- To create the EXIF overlay, FrameForge reads the photo's metadata, which can include the date and GPS location where the photo was taken. You decide which details appear on the border. Please check the overlay before sharing a photo publicly if you do not want to reveal a location.
CaptionForge
Automatic captions and Final Cut Pro export for the Mac.
- CaptionForge only opens the video, audio and subtitle files you choose, and saves exports where you choose.
- Captions are generated on your Mac. Your footage, audio and transcripts are never sent to us.
- Any settings and templates you save stay on your Mac.
This website
apps.filmpixstudios.com does not use cookies, analytics or tracking scripts. The App Store badges are loaded from Apple. Our web host may keep standard server logs (such as IP address and pages requested) for security and to keep the site running.
Your rights
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) you have the right to access, correct and delete personal data held about you and to object to its processing. Because our apps keep your information only on your device, you are in full control of it: delete items inside the app, or delete the app to remove all of its data.
If you email us, we use your message only to reply and delete it when it is no longer needed. You can also lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Commission in Ireland (dataprotection.ie).
Children
Our apps do not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children.
Changes to this policy
If we change how any of our apps handles information, we will update this page and the effective date above. Significant changes will also be mentioned in the app's release notes.
